The event will kick off officially from midday at the Arm River Centre on
Friday 5th January with departure from the accommodation venue by 10am on
Monday 8th January.
Friday 5th January:
10:00 am – 5 pm Hydro releasing water on the Mersey WW Course
11:00 am Arm River Outdoor Education Centre open
1:00 pm Overseas Visitors to have Boat/Gear Checks for anything wet
1:30 pm Session #1 – Safety Skills OR personal trips on the Mersey WW Course
3:00 pm Session #2 – Safety Skills OR personal trips on the Mersey WW Course
7:30 pm Evening Presentations @ Arm River Camp
Saturday 6th January:
8:30 am Technical Paddling Skills Presentation @ Arm RIver Camp
10 am – 5 pm Hydro releasing water on the Mersey WW Course
10:30 am – 4:30 pm Option to paddle Fisher River
10:00 am Session #3 – Paddling Skills OR personal trips
1:30 pm Session #4 – Paddling Skills OR personal trips
3:00 pm Session #5 – Paddling Skills OR personal trips
8:00 pm Evening Presentations @ Arm River Camp
Sunday 7th January:
Participants encouraged to explore surrounding areas/rivers in personal groups

Paddle Fisher River – Hydro release 10:30 am – 4:30 pm (grade 3)
Upper Mersey (Lees Paddocks to Pine Hut Plain) – 1.5-2 hr beautiful forest walk, grade 2 with compulsory portages of 3 large waterfalls)
Lea River – grade 3+ creek with canyon feel to it
Walls of Jerusalem – beautiful walk with alpine lakes
Other options are dependent on local rain
8:00 pm Evening Presentations @ Arm River Camp
Monday 8th January
9 – 10 am Clean up Arm River Camp
10:00 am Depart Arm River Camp
Additional option to Lea River, Upper Mersey, Walls of Jerusalem is the Ouse River
Other options are dependent on local rain but could include North Esk, etc.
